Time With Sands – Ageism and Sexism

I am in my late thirties, and honestly, I have not experienced my gender or age being a limiting factor in my career. Can you give me words of wisdom of how to stay clear of ageism or sexism?

Absolutely. The opportunities for us have never been better, and again, with what’s going on in our current outer world, it’s bringing women together in ways that we haven’t done in years. Now we’ve moved from the first wave to feminist to now what I consider the fourth wave of feminism where it’s cutting across all racial backgrounds, religious backgrounds, age backgrounds. The divisions that had kept us apart as women is now coming together, and we are a vital force on both ends of the spectrum, both as consumers and as leaders. Yet we are facing more and more ageism in the workplace.
