There is a lot of discourse circulating on the topic of gray hair. I love my gray hair, but I also appreciate the choice to color it. What are your thoughts?

This is getting to the ROOT of internalized and externalized ageism! As a society, we have framed gray hair and wrinkles as if they are bad and that aging is to be avoided at all costs.
The fact is that gray hair or colored hair is a personal preference. I choose to color my hair because it feels like me and I love that you love your gray hair! That’s what it’s about. We can support each other in our choices.
I don’t think that this should be framed as an either-or debate, but rather an appreciation of any option. Consider why this discourse is circulating, particularly around women. Gendered ageism is blatant and so deeply rooted in our country (and globally).
To color or not to color is your choice alone!
