As a leader in my company, it’s been increasingly difficult to keep morale and productivity up. What advice do you have for leadership roles, especially women in leadership, during these difficult times we are in?
— Cassandra A.
In these VUCA times (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity), it’s more important than ever to claim our self-agency and self-authority. To make the future work for us as humans, most especially as women, take a rightful place at the global table, in service of all of us, for generations to come.
So the best advice I can give you during this time is to make sure that you are acting as the best leader you can! Know yourself, your values, and the direction you want to go. The rest will follow.
We are still seeing the effects of The Great Resignation in our current labor shortage. People want work cultures that reflect the type of values and desires they have in life. A great workplace has diversity across the board: age, race, sexual orientation, you name it! A great leader works by emphasizing and modeling collaboration and fostering innovation as priorities.
