What is the best way to recover the self I know as alive, empowered and abundant when I am just not feeling it now?

Stop trying so hard.
Realize that the whole range of emotions is what makes us human, and when we start cutting off emotions that don’t feel good, we lose the opportunities that are awaiting. And we end up in status quo.
The best thing to do is to say, “This is where I am. Let me use this time to determine what matters to me—what really is meaningful. What are the criteria I must have to make my life sing?”
You will discover that it is easy to recover the Self because it did not go away. The universe did not leave you stranded. It is finding you again.
Find replacement activities during the pandemic. Start a running list of things you love to do, that you are proud of –and read over it every day.
Select some instrumental music and let it move you, write in a journal about whatever comes up, take nature walks, and do the things that connect you to the feeling that you are part of something bigger. That is how you reclaim yourself: by going inward again and feeling a deeper unity with those things that are bigger than us.
