I am 70 years old and reflecting on what is next for me. How does one begin again at 70 to reimagine the future? Am I being unrealistic to even consider another career or venture? I retired 5 years ago from my job and am bored out of my skull, but have no idea what to do next.

Congratulations on reaching seventy years old! Beginning now is just like beginning at any other time of your life. This is just one more stage of adult development. It is never unrealistic to ask “What is next for me?” – not at any age – and certainly not when our life spans are expanding.
So…where are you now? What matters to you most? What do you desire and want?
Let’s assume you have 20-30 years left, what do you want it to be about? What mark do you want to leave? As an entrepreneur? Employee? A mentor? Do your decisions have to be guided by financial considerations or limitations?
There is so much we can do at any age. The first step is to rekindle the flame within by reconnecting with your life’s passions – then let it grow so it can illuminate your next steps and allow you to be a trailblazer on the Ageless Way.
